Yay! I'm back to posting again! This pregnancy has by far been my hardest one and now at 16 weeks, I'm finally starting to feel somewhat back to normal. And now that I'm back to normal, I can go back to our Disneyland trip back in February!
We had the best time! Friday, we spent the day at California Adventures with Grandma Steph and we had so much fun running around to all of the rides and shows. Saturday, Grandpa O and Lisa met us in the Magic Kingdom and we Disney-ed to our hearts content.
Right when we walked into Disneyland in the morning, all the characters were in the main square with little to no lines. We were able to get to pretty much everyone in the area in only about 20 minutes. Zane wasn't a huge fan of the characters. Leila took a little while to warm up to them, but once we got to Daisy Duck, she was smitten. Sophie wanted to pet and hug everyone we came across.
Leila's favorite princess is Ariel. She was in awe. The characters are so sweet with the little ones. I love it.
Out of focus Minnie Mouse. Leila loves Minnie, but it was all still a little new and intimidating. She eventually warmed up as Minnie kept blowing her kisses.
Zane didn't want to meet anyone at all. Pluto kept doing goofy things and brought Zane out of his shell a little bit.
Sophie was so happy. She's our little one who's pretty much always along for the ride and up for whatever.
We had all the characters sign a 5x7 matte for a picture frame. I will print off a picture one of these days and put in in our autographed frame.
I didn't take very many pictures beyond our character meetings. I did email my phone pictures to myself though, so there are a few more from rides and from lunch at a delicious New Orleans Bistro in Downtown Disney. I didn't send big enough photos from my phone so they aren't the best quality, unfortunately.
Zane hated the Radiator Springs ride. It was way to fast for him. He went on it twice though! We were so proud of him!
