Between our trips to Utah and California, I wanted to try and find a local pumpkin patch. I found one in Scottsdale that I thought was going to be a further drive, but it ended up being only about a ten minute drive. It was perfect!
Thumbs up for the pony ride! Zane is an awesome little cowboy.
Clay is the best dad. My kids are so lucky. Zane and his horse beat Clay and his cow two times!
I love my kiddos!
This is how we approach hay mazes in our family. If you can't find the way out... climb over!
These pictures don't do it justice, but this slide was 28 feet tall and so fast. Can you tell what Zane thought about it? He could have kept going all day long if Clay had been willing to climb to the top with him that long.
As it was, they went down the slide probably five times. Zane was in heaven.
Excited at the beginning of the bull ride.... crying less than 30 seconds into it. I promise that it was only going very slowly around in a circle. Needless to say, we wont be trying that again any time soon.
We got to take a hay ride on a horse-drawn wagon to the actual pumpkin patch.
Zane thought it was so exciting. Leila slept through the whole thing.
I'm trying to include Leila's face in our family picture. Having her in the wrap doesn't really work well with pictures. Look at those cute little toes though! And in the background you can see the giant blue slide that Clay and Zane went down. It really was pretty tall.
We told Zane to find the smallest (cheapest) pumpkins he could for himself and Leila.
He was attracted to the weird ones. At first he chose one with a bunch of green patches for himself. Then he ended up choosing this one that had hard white growths all over it.
He picked this cute little one for Leila. She loved it so much that she stayed asleep.
Neither Clay nor I thought that Zane would like taking a pony ride. He wound up LOVING it. He rode around the corral twice, grinning and waving the whole time.
The horse decided to get photogenic as well. Weird animal.
Fun! This one looks much better than the one we went to last year. Love Zane's face on the slide!
ReplyDeleteThat does look like so much fun! I want to go down that slide!
