Texture Bin Attempt #2:
Success!
We tried to be scientific by putting things in the bowls of water that sank or floated. That didn't last long.
He had a special affinity for the ladle. It was good for flipping water in the air.
But hands work well too. I love the water splashing up and the water dripping off the side of the table.
Zane took a minute to examine the puddle he created on the patio floor. He might have splashed it a little bit too.
He tried to scoop up some of the balls with his measuring cup. I think he was holding the 1/3c. one, so it didn't work very well.
At one point, he accidently splashed himself in the face. He liked it so much that he kept doing it on purpose.
An example of perfect ladle-flipping form. Take notes.
This is the rare "dump one bucket of water out on the ground while simultaneously splashing in another" move. Don't try this at home.
Eventually, Zane was so wet that his pants were falling off. He found that working in just a diaper gave way to greater range of motion. It worked so well that shortly after this, he finished dumping the rest of the water out of the buckets and we went inside for lunch.
