Time to play some catch-up! Back in June, we headed up to Jerome with Grandpa O and Lisa. It was nice to get a break from the scorching heat of the valley for a few hours. The weather was perfect. We even hit a pretty big rainstorm on the way home!
We ate lunch at our favorite restaurant in Jerome, the Haunted Hamburger. We love their food and the view is killer!
We always sit upstairs in a little tiny room with only four or so tables. Jerome is set up way on the side of a mountain and from our window seats, we can see all the way over to the red rocks of Sedona. It's beautiful!
Zane really loves his grandparents!
By this point, I was finally starting to feel better from my monster first trimester (plus) sickness. It was so nice to be out and about again.

After lunch, we headed down the steep stairs to our favorite little park tucked on a flat area between switchbacks. Maybe one day, we will venture outside our usual Jerome routine, but for now we love it!
Look at that rainstorm out over Sedona! Not long after I took this picture, it started to rain pretty hard and we headed toward home. Jerome always treats us well and we love being able to share one of our favorite places with family!
