Sophie- 1 Month

It's hard to believe that this little lady has been part of our family for a whole month! We are so lucky to have this sweet little spirit in our home. Going from two children to three has been a much easier transition than I was anticipating, so far. Let's keep our fingers crossed that things continue this way. Sophie is a great eater. Her jaundice is going away finally. Her eyes are still a little yellow but the doctor said it could be another month before that completely goes away. She still wakes up every three hours at night to eat with the occasional 4-5 hour stretch mixed in. She eats for about 10 minutes then goes right back to sleep which is nice. I'm ready for her to sleep through the night though. That will be nice.

Sophie weighs 11.2 pounds, putting her in the 92nd percentile and she is 23 inches long, putting her in the 99th percentile. We like them big around these parts. 

Zane and Leila are amazing siblings. Zane is a great helper and loves to hold Sophie. Leila loves to give her kisses and pet her head and bring her blankets and stuffed animals when she cries. I am so grateful for all three of my wonderful, beautiful children.
