Halloween Night

Grandpa O came in to town just in time for Halloween! We loved taking him trick or treating with us. Both Zane and Leila were hilarious to watch trick or treating. Leila was especially funny. We went to a friend's neighborhood where everyone sits out on their driveways (gotta love Phoenix!) and passes out candy from their camping chairs. I loved watching Leila toddle up to each house, with her bucket in the crook of her elbow like a purse, and reach her hand up for a piece of candy. She liked putting the candy in her own bucket. Since she wouldn't move the bucket from her elbow, sometimes she had a hard time getting the candy into her bucket and she would "chase" the bucket in a circle like a little puppy chasing her tail. We only did two streets and came away with a ridiculous amount of candy. Clay had to carry Zane's bucket between houses and we had to lighten Leila's bucket by putting candy in Clay's scrub pockets since she wouldn't let go of it. Good thing I have had to cut out dairy again for a while or I would have eaten all the chocolate by now. The pictures aren't the best since it was really dark outside, but I'm glad I got some!
