Twenty-Nine

I'm not sure where the last five years have gone. I'm pretty sure I'm still twenty-four. That's the number that automatically pops into my head when people ask how old I am. My birthday this year was amazing. I was greeted in the morning with party hats, french toast, eggs, bacon, and flowers. I sure love these three beautiful people.

After breakfast, we went to the gym and swimming lessons. It was a great morning.

Clay doesn't bake, so we headed to The Sweet Tooth Fairy and picked out half a dozen delicious cupcakes. It's impossible for me to pick a favorite there. Each time we go, I have something different and each cupcake is better than the last.

My cute boys put their party hats back on and sang Happy Birthday to me.

I got to blow out the candle on my vintage vanilla cupcake.

We capped off the night with a night out. A friend came over and put the kiddos to bed while Clay and I went to my favorite movie theater. I love being able to sit in a big comfy recliner with my feet up and order really good food from the waitstaff circulating around the theater.
A couple days after my birthday, my good friend hosted a girls night out in my honor at Macaroni Grill. It was fun to get out for a few hours and just relax and talk. Then just yesterday, another friend treated me to lunch. We are so lucky to have a great community of good friends and their families around us.

Even though I keep getting random AARP information and other fun retirement benefits information in the mail, and although I am almost dirty thirty, I know this year is going to be amazing! On my birthday last year, I was two weeks away from giving birth. And this year, I'm about 14 weeks away from giving birth again. Next year, I will have three babies! Wow! Thank you to everyone who called, texted, facebook messaged, and sent cards. Love you all!
