The Last Couple of Months According to my Phone

I haven't dumped the pictures off my phone in a couple months, so there will probably be quite a few pictures and they start out a little old, but this is our life!

I'm pretty sure that I mentioned how our whole family got sick during our trip to the snow a while ago.  It took a couple days for everyone to recover.  There was a whole lot of sleeping on Mom and Dad going on. Poor babies.

Zane has been learning so much at preschool. He was so proud of this two that he drew on his chalkboard. He has also started reading little books. He is amazing at sounding out words! I love how excited he gets about learning and how proud of himself he is!

I love this sweet girl! She loves playing with mirrors.

We went mini-golfing a couple weeks ago. It is hilarious to golf with Zane. He uses his club a couple of times, then spends the rest of the time walking up to the hole and placing his ball gently inside. Then he waits patiently for Clay and I to take our turns. He is such a funny boy.  We love our Phoenix spring weather!

We absolutely love the friends we have made in our new area. There are some incredible families in our ward. One night, when Clay was working a group of families met at a park by our house and had pizza and pie. I love that our friends take the time to include Zane, especially when Clay isn't there to do "manly" things like throw the tennis ball for the dogs.

We were able to take in a spring training game. It was the Giants versus... I don't remember. The Brewers, maybe? While the game was fun and we had a blast with Bret and Bri, I miss our Mariners/Padres stadium back in Peoria. It was way more expensive and a lot more crowded to watch the reigning World Series champs play. While it was fun to represent the Bay Area team, neither Clay nor I care enough about the sport in general to be picky about the teams we go see. Next year, it's back to Peoria and our open space, cheap seats!

It's warming up enough that we have been able to go to the fountains! We went to the splash pad at Scottsdale Quarter for the first time and it was great. I love that we still have new places to explore in our new area.

And finally, to be totally caught up, yesterday after conference we decided to check on the progress of the new Phoenix Temple. It is really coming along. Zane was so sad that we couldn't go inside and check it out. We are excited for the open house in a few months!
