Museum Madness Part II

Grandpa O came to hang out with us for the weekend and he treated us to the Arizona Science Center before Clay had to head off to work. I think we have found our new favorite place to play! And we didn't even get to all the floors in the museum. We can't wait to go back again!

Clay and Zane loved playing with the digital funhouse mirrors. Their faces were hilarious.

Keep your hands to yourselves, ladies... he's all mine!

Leila and I hung out on the sidelines

While Grandpa, Clay, and Zane experienced a multi-sensory journey of the different climates of the world. There were heat lamps, wind, rain, and even an earthquake. Zane loved it. Let's be honest, it was probably Clay's favorite part too.

I'm pretty sure that this erosion table was Zane's favorite part. He loved moving the wet sand around and pushing the button to turn the water on. He could have stayed here all day.

 

One day, Leila will be big enough to play with all of the fun stuff. For now, she gets to stay nice and comfy with me.

P.S. she is five weeks old here and is weighing in at almost 12 pounds and is holding up her head like a pro. She needs to stop growing up so fast!

In the human body area, Leila and I watched a heart surgery being performed. Gotta start her early!

Clay and Zane raced in their wheelchairs. Clay won.

Then Clay stuck his head in a giant colon. He tried to get Zane to slide down the colon. But the "digestive" noises that it was making scared him too much. They made Clay laugh.

So, then Clay went and picked a giant nose. Lovely, right? The giant nose sneezed and rocketed out squishy balls. Even more lovely. Zane didn't like the sneezing either. I can't blame him... it was pretty loud.

He preferred playing in the heart chamber ball pit.

Zane's second favorite place in the museum was the outdoor water works area.

Between Clay and Grandpa helping him, Zane got pretty soaked and loved every second of it.

Just going through these pictures and writing this post has made me even more excited to go back again. I seriously love this place!
