The Rest of the Surprise

Grandma and Grandad's yard is one of Zane's most very favorite places.

He gets free reign over all the land. There aren't any streets to worry about him running into. He can just go.

Just like the cows, the horses were a little skittish around Zane. Their not used to toddler energy, I guess.

Grandad and Zane were nearly inseparable around the horses and cows. It was adorable.

Zane watched Grandad use the pitchfork to pick up some hay. He thought it would be a good idea if he shoveled some hay into the wheelbarrow too.

Independent little man wanted to do it by himself.

Zane found a friend.

We were able to leave Zane with Grandma and Grandad one night and we went down to Blanding for a date night with Tony and Shawna. We had shakes and fries at the Patio.

Then we went to the little local theater and watched The Hunger Games. It was great to have a fun night out with my sweetheart!

We are so glad that we went up and surprised Doug and Steph for the weekend!
