I don't remember the name of this farm.
I do remember that it had a stack of giant tires. Doug and Steph own a lot of tractor tires. They should build a climbing structure on their land for the grandkids. Or not.
Zane and Clay enjoyed being the King and Prince of the pile of giant tires. We have high aspirations in our family.
Zane made a stinkin' cute Christmas tree.
Oh, and did I mention that there was a giant tubing hill with real (fake) snow? This picture was after our first run. Needless to say, this was one of Zane's favorite activities-- EVER.
Each run, one of us went in a double tube with Zane and the other went in a single tube. Can you find little Zane behind giant Clay?
And there's Zane behind me and Clay down in the corner. If you click the picture and make it bigger, you should be able to see that he is grinning his little heart out.
Each time we got to the bottom of the hill and asked him if he wanted to go down the hill again, he got excited and yelled, "Yes!" Then we would get back in line and head up the escalator again.
Who knew that so much fun could be had in the snow in 60 degree weather!?
After our tubing time was up, we headed over to the pile of snow to let Zane play a little bit more. Snow was shootout out of the snow machine, so Zane got to experience a taste of what it is like to play in the snow when it is actually snowing. Grandpa helped him climb up to the top of the pile.
He quickly figured out what do to with the snow.
It was getting time to leave for lunch and naptime, but Zane wanted to sit in the snow and keep playing.
Next winter, we should definetly take a trip up to Flagstaff to play in real snow. He couldn't have had more fun than he did at the snow farm!
Ahh that looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I'm glad someone put in the effort to make snow. Everyone needs to experience snow!
