Fond Farewell

As the summer came to a close, a lot of Clay's classmates were preparing to head to other parts of the country for their rotations. Since we are planning to stay here, all of Clay's rotations are local, but we wanted to have a last get-together with the classmates and families that we have been closest to during school.

We went to one of the best restaurants I have ever visited. The food was fine, but the most wonderful part was the babysitting room. There were actually two different rooms for the different age ranges. We dropped Zane off and he played with toys while we ate. We even ordered food for him and it was delivered to him in the room. And the childcare is free.  BEST PLACE EVER! Zane really is pretty awesome when we go out to eat, but it was nice to not have to focus on anything except talking to the people around us and enjoying our food.

I did go pick up Zane after we were done eating so we could play with him. We just missed him.

Here's the crew (from the left): Zane, Clay, Me, Kevin (on the ground), Alicia, Baby Tyler, Whitney, Baby Janie, Colonel, Tim, Tim's wife, and Josh.  Kevin and Alicia's other two boys, Andrew and Jackson were running around and didn't get in the picture.

Clay, Josh, Kevin, Tim, and Colonel had a little too much fun in class together.

I thought it would be fun to get a picture of everyone that was added to the bunch over the course of pharmacy school so far (let's not forget that there are still nine months left before graduation). Tim got married, we had our little Zaner, Colonel just had Janie a couple months ago, and Kevin added Tyler to their family of boys.

I look forward to graduation when we get to see all of these fun friends again.
