Ashley Town

We went to Tot Town with Ashley. But Ashley Town sounds so much cooler! And it's less to type in the title box.  We had a great time playing with Ashley! Zane has always enjoyed Tot Town, but this particular visit, we could barely keep up with him as he ran from rug to rug trying out different activities.

We spend a good chunk  of time playing on the different slides. Zane is quite a fan. He even lets out a "Wheee!" When he slides down. Actually, "Whee!" is his name for a slide.

Characteristic of this visit, Zane is running off in every direction before I can even get a picture of what he is doing.

Zane had fun opening and closing this door. Since we keep certain doors closed at all times in our house, now Zane likes to make sure that doors are always closed. He even does it when we are at other people's houses. When he learns rules and routines, he likes to stick to them!

More sliding fun. There were some new slides this time. It was fun trying out all of them.

Doesn't he look so natural behind the wheel? One hand on top of the wheel... he must be watching me drive.

Zane picked up a costume, thinking it was a stuffed animal. I put it on him.

Needless to say, he wasn't a fan.

After all that running around, one needs to take the occasional break.

And its always good to practice one's building skills.

This last picture is indicitave of the whole day. He was sitting in the chair and I was trying to get a picture of him. By the time I had the cap off my lens, he was off like a shot, onto the next thing.

Good thing Auntie Ashley is young and has the energy to keep up with Zane! I feel like I need a nap, just writing about the day.
