Fore!

When my dad was here last week, we had so much fun playing. After making trips to the peach festival and the zoo, we did a couple of things that were a little more low key and local. We had a blast!

We went and played at the splash pad. Clay and I got totally soaked.

Zane was a little more hesitant than he usually is about playing in the water.

It didn't take long before he was totally dripping though!

I didn't know how well Zane would do with the mini-golfing.

At first, he enjoyed just watching.

But he soon decided that he needed to get in on the action.

Since he loves balls, he really wanted to just pick up the golf balls and carry them away.

After we taught him to put the balls in the hole, that became his job. We would each hit our balls once. Then Zane would take over, collecting them all and putting them one-by-one into the hole.

Aside from helping us golf, Zane had fun running around the fun things that each hole had. We only went on one of the four different courses. I am excited to go try out the other three sometime.

I scored 2 on every hole. Thanks to Zane, I've never had a better mini-golf score!
