Doug and Steph made a pit-stop in Peoria on their way to Wisconsin, so we all made our way to our ward Easter party. It was completely organized by one of the young women in our ward for her value project. It was nothing short of OUTSTANDING!
Doug and Zane enjoyed some manly bonding.
Steph and Zane went for a walk in the rocks. Not as fun as it may seem as there were some kind of biting bugs in the rocks. Ouch!
He was trying out parts of the obstacle course just for fun, then he spied the
WATER!
Sidenote: Oh, how I love that boy's hair!
Alex, the girl in charge of the activity set up an amazing obstacle course. Each child went from station to station and completed an activity. They got an egg at the end of each station.
Clay and Zane did the army crawl set up to look like a carrot garden. I didn't get there in time to get any pictures, but I'm sure it was cute.
Zane tossed a ring onto a bunny's ear. With some help from Mommy.
He was so proud of himself when he did it!
Then we limboed under a series of progessively shorter noodles. Zane was able to walk under all of them.
Except for the shortest one, which he knocked over repeatedly, on purpose. (Much to the chagrin of that boy behind us) We finally gave up trying to go under, collected our egg and moved on.
Zane successfully tossed the carrot through the rabbit's mouth.
He pinned the tail on the bunny.
With a little help from grandma Steph to get it in just the right spot.
Decisions, decisions...
Mom helped Zane bunny hop one direction.
And Dad helped the other direction. It was a little more awkward for him.
After finding a rubber duckie with a bunny on the bottom and hopping through hula-hoops, our last task was to cause a traffic jam on the balance beam. Mission accomplished.
Pink or Yellow? How about both!!!!!
So fun!! :)
