12 Months

Mr. Zane is a walking, talking one-year-old now! I know that some people (one person in particular) are interested in his stats, so here they are:

Height: 31 3/4 inches

97th percentile

Weight: 25.12 pounds

90th percentile

Head Circumference: 19 inches

90th percentile

He still has 8 teeth, but seems to be working on another one.

He loves to play and explore outside. He like to call down a manhole in the middle of our grass and listen for the echo. He loves collecting acorns and sticks. He likes to splash in puddles and smoosh mud. He enjoys playing in the sand. He loves chasing birds and still gets excited about lights of any kind. Besides "Mom" and "Dad", he says (or tries to say)  "ball" "light" "bubbles" "balloon" and he signs the word "more". He recognizes the letter M and will go find it on the wall when we ask him where the "M" is.  He will consistenly show you his nose and ears when asked. We are working on other body parts. He is always super happy and is still a champion sleeper, sleeping 11-12 hours a night. He loves books and being read to. He really loves any theme songs too. He is riveted any time a theme song comes on TV. His favorite show is Backyardagins. He only watches 5-10 minutes at a time, but he loves the music! He is learning and growing more and more every day!
