Cheezer Face (or Christmas Post)

This is a fairly picture-heavy post. You have been duly warned.

We spent Christmas in St. George. It was so fun having all of Clay's siblings in one place for a full week.

Zane enjoyed playing with Brynlee and with Granddad's hat. And with the cool tower that Auntie Jen was building in the background.

Cute Brynlee enjoyed the toys we brought to the resort.

Zane really loved his Uncle Tony.

Talmage and Zane enjoyed sharing secrets, cheerios,

and perhaps a little droll too.

There was a nice little playroom at the resort where we stayed. The boys loved climbing all over everything.

We put some puffs on a pizza pan to see if the babies would share. It was hysterical to watch them go crazy for them!

Since I am constantly taking pictures of Zane, I knew the day would come soon enough that he would figure out what I was doing each time I held the camera up to my face. While we were in St. George, Zane started making a Cheezer Face every single time I held up my camera. He would squint his eyes and give me a little grin. I cracked up every time he did it. He always did it a second too late though, so I caught some pretty weird faces while he was cheezing for me.

Zane is getting really good at peek-a-boo. He loved playing with Grandma Steph.

We didn't have a Christmas tree, and I wasn't super excited about the prospect of having one in the condo with Zane around possibly trying to climb up the tree and pulling it down on top of himself. Or that he might try to pull off the lights. Or the ornaments.

A few days before Christmas, Steph and Doug had taken babies out for a walk when they came upon this Christmas tree sitting by the dumpster. They brought it back to the condo and we decorated it all up. I am SOOO happy we did! It smelled so good and it was so beautiful. Zane was really good about it too. We only had to take him away from it a few times. We didn't have a star or an angel for the top, so I decided to make a star out of a paper bag and some ribbon we had lying around. I thought it completed our tree quite nicely!

When Christmas morning came around, I was so happy to have a real Christmas tree!

The first present we opened was Zane's new backpack from my parents. Zane loves it!

(Cheezer Face!)

The boy's fingers are like magnets to lights!

Grandma Steph had a cute stocking made for each of the grandbabies.

Zane didn't have any balls before Christmas. He must be a real boy now!

I just love the cute Christmas jams that the babies got from Grandma and Grandad.

Zane loves his new CAT tractor. He is going to drive one someday just like his daddy and grandad and great-grandad!

Zane loved driving this little car around everywhere. He drives anything around that he can find now.

When he opened this sock monkey, he gave it a giant hug. I have never seen him do that before. It was so cute!

Clay and I got Zane a ball too!

Grandpa O got Zane some books and a couple stuffed animals. He loved how soft the alligator was. He also loves his little Cooper Bear and the book that goes with it. Every time Cooper talks, it takes Zane by surprise. (Cheezer Face)

The Van's that my sisters got for Zane are so cute! (Cheezer Face)

And Tio, thank you for the dinosaurs. Zane thought they were delicious!

It was a wonderful Christmas. We are blessed to have such wonderful people to call family on both sides! We love all of you!
