Trunk Or Treat

My little Sharky and I went trunk-or-treating Saturday night. I wanted the whole family to dress up with me as fish and mermaids. No one was willing to do it, so I compromised and my sister, Chelsie, and I wore Hawaiian skirts and leis. My mom wore her SJ Sharks jersey (Go Sharks!) My brother wore a fancy suit he had custom made in Honduras for $40. It's super-snazzy. I took pictures of my mom in her jersey, but since I am in her house right now, she has veto power over what pictures can go up on the blog. Needless to say, she used that power today. As soon as we got to the chili-cookoff portion of the night, Chelsie ran off with some of her friends, so I didn't get a picture with her. I did get cute pictures of me me with my brother, and me with my little shark. I taped a piece of paper to his candy pumpkin that said, "CHOMP or TREAT!" Cute, right?

I was the first one to get home, so I had to get Zane's bath and bed stuff ready by myself. I gave Zane his candy to keep him occupied. I had turned around for a couple of seconds, and when I turned back, he had sucked the wrapper off of a DumDum sucker and was happily enjoying his delicious grape-flavored sucker. He was frustrated that he couldn't get the candy all the way off the stick and into his mouth. What a funny kid!
