We really enjoyed the cooler weather. Steph took Zane for lots of walks. For some reason, in Monticello this year, the fields have exploded with sunflowers. Zane picked me a pretty flower on one of their walks!
Steph found this cute bouncer down there for quite a bargain! Zane completely loved it!
The puppies just loved Zane and wanted to lick him all day. Zane liked the puppies and tried to claw out their eyes and eat their noses. We are trying to teach him to be gentle. It's not working.
Zane looked good in Gigi-Pa's (great grandpa Plumb) cowboy hat.
Zane enjoyed some sun with Grandma Steph out on the trampoline. Zane must really be getting heavy... he busted a couple of the tramp springs!
Clay taught Zane how to drive the tractor.
Clay's uncle Fent lives back a bit on the property, so we decided to walk down to see him one night and bring him some leftovers. How cute are those granparents?!?
Gigi-ma didn't like the flip-flops that Steph let her borrow for the walk, so she took them off and walked barefoot instead!
Can you believe we got Grandpa Plumb to play X-Box? It only lasted a couple minutes, though.
A couple of generational shots!
We thought it might be easier to ship Zane home rather than put him in the carseat. In the end, we decided that shipping might take too long and we might start to miss him.
What a fun trip! We had a blast spending time with family and even got some AWESOME bargains at garage sales and baby clothing swaps. I had a fun photo shoot for his 7 month pictures. I posted one on the side of the blog, but will do another post once I have the chance to play around with the rest of them.
How fun that you got to go "home"... and even better that it was a surprise! Gma Plumb cracks me up, what a "cool" trip. Its nice that we live close enough to do that (when you arent 8 mo prego at least:))
