Halloween Costumes

I had been wanting to get some cute pictures of us in our Halloween costumes, but it seemed that none of my great ideas were destined to work out. I wanted to find a vintage car to take pictures with, but the only car we could find was up on blocks in a shop. Then I had the brilliant idea of taking pictures with a motorcycle. Clay's friend and classmate has a motorcycle, but our schedules never worked out. Finally, I decided to take matters into my own hands and had the brilliant idea of going to an underpass very close to our house and taking some pictures there. After some creative tripod building with river rocks and the self-timer, I am pretty happy with the results!

This skirt was my first big project with my new sewing machine.
