Happy Birthday, Tony!

We are lucky enough to have Uncle Tony living with us for the month of December. Seriously. We aren't letting him move back to Utah. We are keeping him forever.
We got to celebrate Tony's 28th birthday with him! Clay wakes up at 4:00 every morning. On the morning of Tony's birthday, Clay taped garbage bags to Tony's door and filled it with balloons so when Tony woke up, he would have an avalanche of balloons.

Zane, Leila, and Sophie loved it almost as much as Tony.

Tony went downstairs and found some delicious doughnut holes for breakfast. Super healthy. We also decorated the kitchen with some fun shark decorations.

Once Clay got home from work, we presented Tony with a choose-your-own-adventure birthday activity. He received three envelopes with clues to various activities on the outside. He picked his favorite clue and we headed out the door to...

The bowling alley.

Sophie wandered around while we took turns showing off our sweetest bowling moves.

We love bowling with bumpers and a ramp!

We should all be like Zane and take a minute to appreciate the little things. Like gutter balls.

Even bowling like this, Clay still managed to win both games.

After our games, Tony received three more envelopes with clues to three different types of food. Tony let Zane choose and we ended up at...

5 Guys! YUMMY!

Then we went home for cake. Let's talk about this cake. Holy Yum. It was a hot fudge sundae cake. The cake batter had ice cream and hot fudge mixed in. It was seriously delicious and still so good a few days later. You can find the recipe HERE if you want to make one too. You should. You really should.

I found as many candles as I could, everyone donned party hats, and we sang like crazy!

We all loved the chance to celebrate with Uncle Tony!
