One of our (many) favorite Christmas traditions here in Phoenix is visiting the Scottsdale Fairmont Princess. The tree, lights, and grounds are beautiful. This year, my pictures are terrible, but we had the best time with Grandma and Grandpa Faulk and Grandpa O. We watched the tree light show, rode the carousel, and saw all the lagoon lights from the train. It was the perfect start to our holiday season and the kids loved every second of it.
Sophie was loving all of the lights. She kept pointing to them and getting so excited.
This year, there was a projection of a giant gingerbread house on one of the buildings. It was so dark outside that I had to use my flash and everything ended up wonky because of that. You will just have to take my word for it that everything was spectacularly beautiful.
Leila and Grandpa O had fun waiting for our turn on the carousel.
While Grandma Faulk helped keep Sophie warm.
Zane turned out blurry because he wouldn't stop spinning himself long enough for me to get a good shot. Also, I was taking the picture from the top of a carousel horse.
Not sure what's going on with Sophie in the picture, but Grandma sure looks pretty.
Again, Grandpa O looks a little strange, but Leila sure is cute!
The kids loved having three-fifths of their grandparents here for Thanksgiving! We had so many fun adventures with them!
