Roadrunner Picnic

It's safe to say that as a family, we all love Clay's new job. He works weekdays, 8-hour days, no weekends ever, no holidays ever, and they have awesome family activities. A couple weekends ago, Roadrunner held a family picnic at a park in Scottsdale. They had yummy catered BBQ, a rock wall, bounce house, spin art, raffles, anti-gravity trampoline, popcorn, cotton candy, and puppies.  Since Roadrunner is a veterinary pharmacy, it is staffed primary by animal lovers and there were a lot of dogs at the picnic. Room to run around a park full of puppies is Leila's heaven. While Zane did all the activities, Leila ran around from dog to dog saying "woof, woof" and feeding them goldfish. Her favorite was a little dog named Twinkie. They became the best of friends. I tried to take her home with us, but Clay's co-worker wouldn't let us. It turns out that Twinkie is so good with small children that she is the only small dog EVER to be allowed as a therapy dog at Phoenix Children's Hospital. While Zane and Leila were running around having the best day ever, Leila rode around in the stroller and eventually fell asleep on me wrapped up in a beach towel.
