The Maquarium

During our trip out to Morgan Hill for my sister's farewell, we headed to my favorite place ever! I love Monterey and I love sharing my favorite place with the people I love. Zane was especially excited to visit the "maquarium". We have been learning all about different sea creatures from seahorses to jellyfish in preschool so it was exciting to actually see them for real!
Zane loved the giant tank with tons of species of fish. A couple to leopard sharks kept swimming by the second story window where we were standing and he enjoyed following them around the tank. We got there right when the divers started feeding the fish. In the picture you can see one diver on the left in the corner. There is also a diver just to the right of kelp, attached to a hose. His smile in this picture just about sums up his feelings about the whole day.

Leila had fun crawling around on the water bed in the baby area. I bounced it a little bit and she got a kick out of riding the waves. She is such a sweetheart.

My cute little penguin babies!

I don't remember what Leila was looking at, but she loved the aquarium almost as much as Zane.

Zane thought these white jellyfish were so cool that he specifically asked me to take a picture of them so he could "look at them again later".

This boy cracks me up. He thought it would be a great idea to lay down on the floor to watch the fish swim around in a circle above him.

I love my sister. She is going to be an incredible missionary. The people of Bolivia are going to love her!

A boy after my own heart, for sure!
