Christmas Car Show

I found another (soap) snowfall place! Clay was able to come with us this time. There was a classic car show, a street dance with a live band, carolers, Radio Disney, Santa, and fake snow. What a night!
Zane really loves to dance. It was fun dancing to live music. And it was especially fun getting to dance with Dad!

We have experienced the bubble snow shooting from the roof several times now. And yet it never fails to make my boy smile like that. I love the childlike wonder!

The music was a little loud, so Leila spent the evening snuggled up against me with my hand over her ear. I lovemy Peekaru. Its a fleece cover designed to go on top of a baby wrap. It keeps both of us so warm when its chilly outside.

Here's our attempt at a self-portrait of the whole family. Almost all of all our faces are in the picture!

As we walked up and down the blocked off street, Zane kept finding cool things to climb on or jump off. He's got some sweet moves.

Eventually Leila called it quits and fell asleep. It was pretty cold outside, but she really was nice and snug. I still can't get over those perfect little lips!

And another family shot. Zane conned his was up onto Clay's shoulders. Sneaky little man.

This is the best picture. Zane dancing and being crazy with his favorite person in the world. And Clay loving every second of it.

We ended the night passing through the car show again and found that there was no line to see Santa. Zane's most updated Christmas list now includes:
  • A basket of squishy balls
  • Some teaspoons to help make some muffins
  • Grandma Faulk to come to his house
  • Grandma Steph to come to his house
  • Daddy to come home (nevermind that Clay was standing right there... I think he just doesn't want Clay to ever go to work)
Good thing they sell a set of 6 squishy balls on Amazon (and that's actually what they are called. hahaha). I'll have to tell Santa. And let him know he needs to find a basket to put them in. I sure love this kid!
