We made our official move to our new house last weekend when family was here for Leila's blessing. I was really excited about our new house with yard and more space but was getting really sad about leaving our amazing friends. We have grown so close to several families that we have adopted them into our own family. We are only about 20 minutes away from our old apartment so it really isn't a huge drive, but it was a big deal for me when Lindsey and Meagan made the trip over to play with us last week. Love them!
Milo and Zane played in the backyard for a while, riding bikes
and playing with the water table that Grandma and Grandpa Faulk got for Zane and Leila as a housewarming gift.
Then we headed over to Desert Ridge, which is about two minutes from our house now... yay! The kids got soaked in the fountains while the moms ate lunch.
Zane has started making crazy faces and hamming it up for the camera recently. It adds a lot of character to his pictures. Can you believe that Lucy is 1.5 years older than Zane? That boy is monster-big.
Milo is so stinkin' cute! We missed the Flakes while they did their three month internship in Peru. We are so happy they are home!!!
Thanks for having us over! Just tell us when to come back... we will be there!
ReplyDeleteHooray for your new house. I can't believe you are that close to Desert Ridge... we often visited there. You will love having a yard with kiddos, it is so fun (minus the summer time that is, but I guess you have a water table). Good luck with all the new and exciting things that come with a move, even if it is only a few miles away. I was going to txt you this week, and found that I no longer have your new number. Not sure what happened, but if you get a chance, I'd love if you sent it my way again. :)
