Ashlyn's Baby Sister

Zane and I got to go to the hospital to meet Madelyn, Ashlyn's new baby sister. Zane spent most of the time riding up and down the elevator with Bret,

Begging treats off of Ashlyn's grandma,

and playing hide-and-seek in the cabinets. Who knew hospitals were so much fun!

Zane actually did get to hold Madelyn for a minute. He was fascinated by her tiny little toes and wrinkly hands. He got upset when she cried and wanted to make her happy. He is going to be in for a whole new world when his baby sister comes in a couple months!

I am excited that Zane will be able to come to the hospital to meet his sister. When I had Zane, H1N1 was going around and kids under 12 weren't allowed on the maternity floor, so I am glad the rules have changed!
