So, we decided to try and take some cousin pictures while Talmage, Brynlee, and Zane were all in the same state. With one dad in medical school in Wisconsin, one in law school in Washington DC, and one in pharmacy school in Arizona, you never know when the next time is that they will all be in the same place at the same time.
We headed to Caitlin Court in downtown Glendale. I love all of the old houses and shops. There are so many fun places to take pictures. If only the children were as fun as the location.
Actually, the children were all fun. They just weren't super cooperative. What was I thinking, trying to take pictures of three active toddlers at the same time?
Miss Brynlee was the only one who we could count on to do exactly what we wanted. She was picture perfect and love hamming it up for the camera.
Zane, on the other hand, was having another clingy day and wanted to be attached to me again. And Talmage figured the best thing to do would be to climb under a fence.
Here is said fence. My camera card is full of pictures like this ones. We used the spray bottle to try to get the kids to smile. Usually it works perfectly. This time, it made Zane cry harder and made Tal make funny faces. And it only made Brynlee cuter.
After a few minutes, both boys had enough. They both made their way over the fence.
We moved onto another location and tried again. It was impossible to get a picture where all three of the babies were smiling and looking at the camera at the same time. Remember the picture of the kids on the couch at the Burtenshaws where they were all looking at the camera and smiling? Yeah, that didn't happen here. Go look at the top two pictures in this collage, though. It looks like Zane in the left picture is stealing Tal's stick in the right picture. Love it.
And out of over 100 shots, the best pictures are:
Good thing they are so cute.
