Montessori Man

No, we haven't enrolled Zane in preschool yet. My mom works at a Montesorri school and we thought it would be fun to take Zane over to the school and let him run around on the playground with the kids. He had a blast!

Zane was so excited about all of the options, he ran from activity to activity. He couldn't stay in any one place for more than a few seconds before he was on to the next one.

One of Zane's favorite things to do was push around the shopping cart. He will be such a good helper at the grocery store one day.

Then he discovered the ball bin. He grabbed some basketballs and wouldn't let go!

My son takes driving very seriously. Even if it is just driving the wheel of a play structure.

For those times when you don't feel like going down the slide yourself, just send down two balls instead!

He's got places to go, things to buy.

The chalk got a little messy. The more of a mess you make, the more fun you are having, right?

Zane even got to do an art project with Grandma's help. He has never painted with a spoon before. He thought you were supposed to eat the paint.

He ended up creating quite the masterpiece, if I do say so myself.

Eventually some of the other kids came over to play with Zane. It was so cute watching him interact with the boys. The boy next to Zane is McCormick (I think that's how you spell his name). He was adorable with Zane. He kept following him around to each activity and helping Zane play.

They even spent some time digging up dinosaurs fossils for a while. This was far and away Zane's favorite activity of the day. I need to get a tub full of sand for Zane to play with. He LOVES it.

Zane was sad when McCormick went inside to go learn some more things. He was happy to keep playing in the sand. We are so happy that we got to go play with the friends at school!
