Happy Fourth of July!
What a great weekend! Friday night, we celebrated my birthday by going to Tempe and seeing a positively amazing performance of Wicked. We saw Wicked on Broadway last May, but thanks to the fact that there were some rotten children behind us that wouldn't shut up, and the fact that both the leads were played by understudies at that performance, it wasn't as good as it could have been.
The performance on Friday could not have been better unless it had been performed by Idina and Kristen themselves! It was fabulous and had me near tears multiple times!!!
On Saturday, we didn't so much since it is soooo hot here! We watched fireworks on TV, then went outside and caught the finale of the Peoria fireworks a few blocks away. I love the fourth of July!
